Wedding Photographers Langley Castle, Hexham, Northumberland.
Langley Castle just outside of Hexham, Northumberland, is the perfect venue for a castle wedding. Set in ten acres of woodland you are spoilt for choice when it comes to photogenic areas both inside and out for your photographs. The castle itself boasts 7 feet thick walls and is regarded as one of only a few medieval fortified Castle Hotels in England. Built in 1350, during the reign of Edward III.
Rachel & Gareth chose Langley Castle for their wedding venue and I was privileged to be their chosen wedding photographer, below are just some of the many photographs from their day.

Wedding photographer, Rushpool Hall, Saltburn, Cleveland, North Yorkshire.
Rushpool Hall, Cleveland, North Yorkshire was the wedding venue of Louise and Stuart. Another stunning location for a wedding, very photogenic. I was blessed with some magical light coming in through the windows, especially during the bride and bridesmaids preparations. The guy’s preparations was a joy to photograph too with Stuarts Mum helping each and every one of them.
The selection below are just some of the shots taken that day.

Wedding photographer, Grinkle Park Hotel, Cleveland, North Yorkshire.
Grinkle Park, Cleveland, North Yorkshire was the wedding venue for Katy and Matt. The wedding ceremony itself was held under an overhanging tree, which looked quite stunning. I’m sure I was told the name and origin of but, sadly it escapes me for now…….
The weather was touch and go for an outdoor wedding ceremony, I know it rained non stop throughout my journey to the wedding venue. However, with half an hour to go, the rain eased……and then stopped. The over hanging tree and surrounding tree’s and bushes allowed enough light on the couple, as well as enough shelter for the wedding guests. The sun eventually shone during the wedding service briefly, creating some lovely light on the foliage behind.
After the wedding service we left to get some shots at Staithes which is only a short drive away. Katy wanted some jumping shots…..although strangely, she was the only one NOT to jump!!!!
This is just a small selection of the shots taken from Katy and Matt’s wedding at Grinkle park.

Wedding Photographer, The Manor House, West Auckland, Co Durham.
The Manor House in Co. Durham is a wonderful venue for a wedding. With its Jacobean staircase, wood panelled walls and beamed ceilings, not forgetting the landscaped gardens. I had the pleasure of being the wedding photographer for Hazel and Robert who married in Washington, Tyne and Wear and held the reception in The Manor House.

Wedding Photographers, The Hilton Hotel, Newcastle, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.
The service for Rajvir and Baldeep took place at the Sikh Temple in Sunderland. However, it was an early morning start outside the Hilton Hotel Newcastle / Gateshead that got today underway. The coming together of the families and exchanging of gifts then a bite to eat before leaving for the Temple. Sikh weddings are big events, very colourful, with lots of twists and turns during the day, tons of food, lots of music and dancing. It was a privilege to be a part of, a fantastic sight to witness and a dream to photograph!

Wedding Photographer, Washington Old Hall, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear.
A National Trust Building Washington Old Hall’s history is its connection to George Washington, the first US president. The Hall was the home to his direct ancestors, and the current house still incorporates parts of a medieval dwelling where they lived. A fantastic venue for weddings with it’s Jacobean gardens a truly photogenic location inside and out. Many thanks to Jo and Nev for allowing me to be there chosen wedding photographer on there big day.

St. Mary’s Lighthouse, Whitleybay, Newcastle, Tyne and Wear, Fine Art Prints.
Only accessible during low tide along a short causeway St. Mary’s lighthouse was completed in 1898 and remained operational until 1984. Now a destination for visitors to Whitley Bay wishing to climb the 137 steps from ground to lantern to enjoy spectacular views of the north east coast.

Having already applied for a wedding license, St. Mary’s Lighthouse would be a fantastic venue for wedding ceremonies and one which I would love being the photographer at!
So, if you are looking to make those vows at an alternate venue and you are looking for a photographer, then please give us a call!
