Hadrians Wall, Northumberland

Terry Deary the author of the very popular “Horrible Histories” children’s books during a stop at Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland.

I was asked by the National Trust if I would be available to photograph Terry during his sponsored run, Terry was running the length of the wall some 130 miles or so for the charity “Integrating Children”….. the shoot was to include Melanie Hill, actress who appeared in many shows including later episodes of Bread staring as Aveline. Unfortunately Melanie couldn’t make it on the day.

Bolam Lake, Northumberland, fine art prints.

Bolam lake is sited off the A696 just past Belsay Hall. An artificial feature created by John Dobson in 1818,With fishing, boating, woodland walks, lakeside meadows and picnic areas it’s a nice area to loose yourself for a while. Plenty of wildlife, with various varieties of birds which often feed from your hand, red squirrels are also a common sight!
